Can you own the room?

HER TYPE is building a performance-first male revue cast. We’re looking for men with presence, work ethic, confidence, and the ability to make a room feel like something is happening the second they walk into it.

We are casting for

More than a body.

Looks matter in entertainment. So do timing, reliability, charisma, musicality, stage discipline, and whether the audience remembers you when the lights come back on.

Stage presence
You can command attention without forcing it. Confidence reads before choreography does.
Movement
Dance experience is a plus, but coachability, rhythm, athleticism, and willingness to rehearse matter too.
Crowd instincts
You understand playful audience interaction, boundaries, timing, and how to make a guest feel included instead of uncomfortable.
Professionalism
Show up. Learn the material. Respect the cast, crew, guests, venue, schedule, and brand.
What to submit
01
Basic info
Name, age, Nashville-area availability, and best way to contact you.
02
Current photos
Clear, recent photos that actually look like you. Professional portfolio shots are welcome but not required.
03
Performance background
Dance, fitness, theater, nightlife, sports, modeling, crowd work—or tell us why you think you can do this even without a traditional background.
04
Short video
A brief introduction and a movement/performance clip if you have one. We care more about presence than production value.
New to this?

You do not need to already be “in the industry.”

A strong performer can come from dance, fitness, theater, nightlife, athletics, modeling—or nowhere obvious at all.

HER TYPE is interested in men who can learn a show, take direction, respect boundaries, and develop a stage persona. Prior revue experience can help, but it is not the only path in.
