This Privacy Policy explains how HER TYPE (“HER TYPE,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, shares, and protects personal information when you visit HerTypeEntertainment.com, contact us, submit an inquiry or casting application, or otherwise interact with our website and online services.

This policy applies to information collected through our website. Ticket purchases are processed through Ticket Tailor, and additional privacy terms may apply when you use Ticket Tailor or another third-party service.

Information we collect

Information you provide

We may collect information you choose to submit, including your name, email address, mobile number, event or celebration details, group size, business information, casting information, social-media handles, links to photos or videos, and other information you include in an inquiry or application.

Ticketing information

When you purchase tickets, Ticket Tailor and its payment partners may collect payment, billing, transaction, and attendee information. HER TYPE may receive information needed to administer the event, communicate with ticket holders, provide customer support, and manage admissions. We do not receive or store your complete payment-card number through our website.

Website and device information

Squarespace and other service providers may automatically receive technical information such as IP address, browser type, device information, pages viewed, approximate location derived from IP address, referring pages, and information collected through cookies or similar technologies.

How we use information

We may use personal information to:

• Respond to celebration, business, venue, press, and general inquiries.
• Review casting applications and communicate about auditions or opportunities.
• Administer ticketed events, guest lists, customer service, safety, and event communications.
• Operate, secure, troubleshoot, and improve our website and services.

• Send marketing communications only when we have an appropriate basis to do so, including your consent where required.

Submitting an inquiry does not automatically subscribe you to marketing emails unless a separate opt-in is presented and selected.

How information is shared

We may share information with service providers that help us run HER TYPE, including:

• Squarespace, which hosts and operates the website and may provide website analytics and security functions.
• Formspree, which processes and stores submissions from our custom inquiry and casting forms.
• Ticket Tailor and payment providers, which process ticket transactions and ticket-holder information.
• Google Workspace, which we use for business email and communications.
• Venues, event contractors, security personnel, production partners, or professional advisers when reasonably necessary to operate an event or business relationship.

We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect rights or safety, or in connection with a merger, sale, financing, restructuring, or transfer of all or part of the business.

We do not sell personal information for money. If our practices change in a way that triggers additional privacy rights or disclosures, we will update this policy.

Cookies & analytics

Our website and Squarespace may use cookies and similar technologies that are necessary to operate the site and may also support analytics, security, preferences, or performance measurement. Third-party features may place their own cookies when you interact with them.

Depending on where you live and which privacy laws apply, you may have rights to request access to, correction of, deletion of, or a copy of certain personal information, and in some jurisdictions you may have rights relating to targeted advertising, sale, profiling, or appeals of denied privacy requests.

You may unsubscribe from HER TYPE marketing emails using the unsubscribe link in the message or by contacting us. Transactional or event-related messages may still be sent when necessary.

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect information. No website, email system, payment system, or method of electronic storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Age & children

HER TYPE events are intended for adults age 21 and older unless a specific event listing expressly states otherwise. Our website is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 through our inquiry forms.

Third-party sites

Our website may link to Ticket Tailor, Instagram, venues, partners, or other third-party sites. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies, and HER TYPE is not responsible for the privacy practices of third-party websites or services.
